Leni’s passion for enhancing the human experience began over 20 years ago, when, as a professional actor at the time, she came to understand the complexities behind human behavior through the many incredible and complex women she portrayed.
Years later, she entered the field of residential Interior Design, and led a design firm in the UAE, which gave her the unique opportunity to create bespoke home environments that enriched the culture, traditions, and special qualities of each person living in the home. Witnessing the impact that environments had on people, communities, and culture made its first imprint, which would later define her life’s vocation.
Her extensive career continued on as a general manager of a real estate development firm in Dubai, and later as the first head and creator of a workplace experience in the Philippines. In late 2018, she relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area to be closer to where the workplace experience industry operates.
This closer look provided her with insight on the organizational gaps that currently exist which prevent the powerful impact of a workplace experience to thrive. This is what drove her to publish multiple articles, blogs, and videos, sharing her initial viewpoints on the industry.
In 2019, with the intention of revealing what a workplace experience really is, why it is different from "employee experience", and how it directly impacts employee engagement and business growth, she wrote and published the pioneering book on Workplace Experience, bringing it to light for the first time as an independent industry.
Two years later, in 2021, the world slowly began its ascent from the clutches of the Corona Virus Pandemic. With it, anxieties began to rise among organization leaders and employees alike over what the “new workplace” will become post-pandemic. For this reason, Leni embarked on the next chapter in her career, supporting leaders and peers to navigate this uncharted transition through various media appearances and publications.
In addition, Leni earned a certificate for Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity, and Belonging (DEIB) in the Workplace, and is finishing her Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, enhancing both her knowledge and dedication to a people-centered work environment.
Her passion for Workplace Experience, and its impact on people, businesses, and communities, is unparalleled. And it is with her expansive career toolkit that she endeavors to empower workplace professionals of all levels, and around the world, with the profound ability to transform the lives of employees everywhere.
